Your privacy on the Internet is very important to Region I. When you visit our site, we gather certain types of information. Because we gather information from our visitors, we want to ensure that you know and understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collecting and use of that information. This privacy policy discloses what information we gather and how we use it. 

Online Training Registration 

Region I provides a convenient way of registering for our training classes. When registering for these classes, a visitor is required to supply personal information such as his or her name, address, email address, work location and so forth. This information is stored and used for class enrollment purposes. It is only shared with the Region I staff. 

Tell A Friend Service

A visitor can choose to send the URL of our newsletter  to one or more email recipients by filling out the Tell A Friend Form. The user must provide their valid e-mail address, as well as that of the recipient(s).  Email addresses are not stored and not used for any purposes other than to send messages.  Region I is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and is not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Region I.  

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file that a Web site writes to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information that the site uses to track the pages you've visited. Currently, Region I does not use cookies.

Privacy for students Age XX and Under

We discourage any young adult from registering for our classes. Our registration system is intended for adults (and you can put something like only wanting teachers who work for Region I parishes) only. We strongly recommend that Web site visitors XX and under refrain from offering any personal information on any areas of the Region I Web site.

Region I provides links to other Web sites. Region I is not responsible for your privacy when you leave our site to visit other Web sites.  We encourage our users to be aware of  the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by Region I.
